Back by popular demand, Michael Porter is one of the greatest flutists in the nation.  Michael Porter heats up any stage with his superb jazz sounds.  Prepare yourself for one of the most entertaining jazz performances you can find in the Queen City from one of the most acclaimed artists in the nation. Michael Porter is a seasoned musician who began his career as a teenager and has grown into a dynamic flutist and jazz leader. His clear clean musical sounds can be heard in The Color Purple, and in the CBS miniseries Shake Rattle and Roll in concert with the great B.B. King.

April 5, 2019 - Nicci Canada & Dapper Street Productions


 

Native of Charleston, West Virginia, Nicci Canada was born into a family of vocalists, and thus surrounded by music her entire life. Capitalizing on her given gifts and talents, Nicci’s warm sultry voice connects with listeners to highlight the powerful language of song.  Her first solo project, entitled “Twenty Twelve,” was released in 2011.  Her other performance appearances have been with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the Tulsa Signature Symphony. Listen carefully for sounds reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone during her performance.
